Eye Test
Your sight is precious so we don't compromise. All our eye tests are designed to check not only your prescription, but the health of your eyes and also to spot any possible eye conditions that may require further investigation. We also offer OCT scanning as an additional service.

NHS Funded and Private
Eye tests are recommended at least every 2 years even if you don’t wear any glasses. We offer both NHS funded and private eye examinations and use the latest equipment to look after you and your eyes.
An eye examination can check a lot more than just your vision; It can detect eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration and also any underlying health conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure.
Private sight test - £30 (free for people who receive NHS funding)
OCT fee - £10
How It Works
Our eye examinations last up to 40 minutes and are conducted by our experienced Optometrists from beginning to end so rest assured you are in very capable hands.
After your eye test, your Optometrist will give you a comprehensive and thorough explanation of their findings, including personal recommendations and even lifestyle and nutritional advice to protect your future sight.
OCT
For an additional £10, we can offer an OCT scan. This is a non-invasive test similar to an ultrasound that captures a cross-sectional scan of the back of your eye as well as a photograph. This allows our optometrists to observe subtle changes to your retina with every eye test you have and can help detect serious eye conditions such as macular degeneration at an earlier stage, leading to better outcomes.
Myopia Expert 700
(included in every child's exam free of charge)
We are extremely excited and proud to offer myopia management interventions for children. Myopia (short-sightedness) is becoming increasingly prevalent in today’s society. The eye grows in length too quickly leading to rapid and continual increase in prescription. Myopia can be corrected by traditional spectacles or contact lenses. However, this does not slow down or fix the problem. Our unique machine is able to measure the length of your child’s eye so our optometrists can determine whether it is in the correct range for their age. Based on these results, we can advise you on the most suitable treatment options if required.
